We’ve measured everything, arced our points where the cuts will be made, and then measured again. I wanted to cut thru the A-pillars but not thru the drip rails. Here is Jon ready to make the first cut. I couldn’t let him do it so I grabbed the saw and started to cut. Look, no grey hair!

I think this is where I said; &#@%, not much left of it!!

Here are a few photos getting the cowl placed correctly and body on the rolling chassis. It came together really nice and was starting to look like a car again. All this took just one day, one long day and we were on our way back home!

Here are a couple shots at the end of my driveway to give you a look at the finished project, at least this particular project. My good friend Pat from Texas said to me shortly after I did the cowl; “buddy, building a hotrod is like writing a book, a thick book…and you’re only on chapter one!” OH how true!!
